Spin the Phaser 1: Take My Beam!

2050

The raucous house party is finally winding down when Valerie suggests a game. Pulling a gleaming silver object from her purse, she holds it aloft with a devious grin.

“Who’s up for Spin the Phaser?” she asks. “For added excitement, we’ll play the strip version of the game with three articles of clothing each. No bras allowed, ladies.”

Against my better judgment, I raise my hand immediately. Valerie nods.

“Thanks, Clara. Who else is in? I’d say six is the optimal number.”

Within a minute, Valerie has four more volunteers. After all the players have adjusted their wardrobes to exactly three garments, we sit in a circle. With drinks in hand, the other twenty guests form a crowd around us. Nobody wants to miss the festivities. Valerie sets the phaser on the floor in the center of the circle.

“Don’t worry. It’s fully charged,” she remarks. “I came prepared to play my favorite game. The rules are simple. We take turns spinning the phaser. If the barrel is pointed at you when it stops, you shed an article of clothing and spin. If you’re already naked, you get zapped by the player of your choice, who then gets the next spin. The game continues until only one remains. To the victor goes the phaser. Any questions?”

We all shake our heads.

“All right, then,” Valerie continues. “I’ll start.”

She places her hand on the phaser and spins it. It goes round and round until finally stopping, with the barrel pointed at me. I roll my eyes.

“Just my luck,” I say, pulling my black t-shirt over my head and tossing it behind me. I’m topless with just panties and a green skirt. My nipples are hard enough to cut glass.

“Your spin,” Valerie says with a grin.

I nod and take hold of the phaser. It’s solid metal, polished to a mirror shine, and even has Valerie’s name etched on the barrel. I’ve never touched such an expensive model before. My phaser is partly metal but mostly plastic. It only cost a fraction of Valerie’s. And unlike her, I’ve only used mine for target practice.

Gripping the phaser, I spin it forcefully. It makes more than five revolutions before coming to rest pointed at Hector. He smiles and removes his polo shirt.

Play continues for several turns as everyone loses at least one article of clothing. Aimee and I are down to our panties, while Kevin and Valerie are already nude. Hector and Darius have only lost their shirts.

Kevin takes a deep breath and spins the phaser. It rotates at least twelve times before slowing down. The barrel swings past Aimee and Kevin before finally coming to a rest. It’s pointed squarely at a very naked Valerie. She laughs.

“Yay!” she exclaims. “I get to go first! Clara, would you please do the honors?”

“Umm, sure.”

I grab hold of the phaser and stare at it in my hand.

Valerie smiles. “First time?”

I nod. “I haven’t even seen someone get phased—not in person anyway.”

“No worries!” Valerie replies. “It’s just point-and-shoot, Clara. Easy peasy. And you’ll get the next spin!”

“All right,” I say. “Here goes.”

After a calming breath, I level the barrel at Valerie’s bare chest and pull the trigger. A bright green energy beam erupts from the end of the barrel, striking Valerie between her breasts. A brilliant glow immediately envelops her entire body. I have to squint to keep looking at her.

The glow begins to fade a few seconds later, along with Valerie’s naked body. She swiftly loses molecular cohesion until only a woman-shaped vapor cloud remains. Then, even that dissipates into thin air, leaving nothing behind. I’ve erased Valerie from existence. I’m still pointing the phaser at the now-empty spot in the circle when Darius clears his throat.

“Your spin, Clara.”

“Right, of course.”

I place the phaser in the center of the circle as the other players shift positions to close the gap left by Valerie’s vanishing. Taking another deep breath, I spin it. It’s a weak spin and only makes it around twice before coming to rest pointed at me.

I stand and shimmy out of my black lace panties. After twirling them on my finger seductively, I toss them over my head and into the crowd. Now completely naked, I sit back down and grab hold of the phaser.

“I guess it’s still my spin, right?”

“Yep,” Aimee replies. “Go for it!”

With a firmer grip this time, I spin the phaser as hard as possible. After several revolutions, it points at a rather nude Kevin. His cock twitches and starts to rise.

“Apparently, this is quite stimulating,” he remarks with a chuckle. “Do me, Aimee!”

“With pleasure!” Aimee replies, eagerly snatching the phaser off the floor and pointing it at Kevin. “Take my beam!”

She pulls the trigger without hesitation. Kevin’s afterglow is still hanging like a phantom when Aimee sets the phaser down and spins it.

The game goes faster as our clothing dwindles. Hector is vaporized next, followed by Darius. Finally, Aimee and I face each other with the phaser on the floor between us. We’re both nude.

“Well,” Aimee begins, “I guess this is it, Clara. The final spin is yours. Good luck to both of us.”
I nod. “Yeah, good luck, Aimee.”

Trembling with anticipation, I take hold of the phaser. The room is silent as our twenty friends hold their breath. I wind up and spin it hard.

The phaser makes one revolution after another before finally coming to rest. It’s pointed directly at me. Aimee pumps her fist in the air.

“Hell, yeah!” she exclaims. “I can’t believe I won! And I get to keep this gorgeous phaser! It must have cost Val at least seven grand.”

“Well played,” I remark, managing a smile. “I’m ready when you are.”

“Oh, I’m definitely ready!” Aimee replies, picking up the phaser and pointing it at my chest. “It’s been a pleasure playing with you, Clara. Now, it’ll be an even greater pleasure to strip you from reality forever, returning all your atoms to the universe like you never even existed! That’s hot, don’t you think?”

“Absolutely,” I reply breathlessly, trembling in anticipation and arousal. “Super hot.”

I gaze into Aimee’s eyes, finding a mix of triumph and desire. The woman about to vaporize me is savoring my final moments to the fullest.

Though admittedly nervous, I’m also strangely eager to be fundamentally unmade. Is that why I was so quick to raise my hand? Do I secretly want to taste eternity? Before I can sort through my conflicting feelings, Aimee breaks the silence.

“Enjoy oblivion, Clara. I’ll offer you the same parting words I gave Kevin. Take my beam!”

With that, Aimee pulls the trigger.

The phaser beam is comfortably warm as it strikes my chest, filling my body with energy and initiating the chain reaction that will take me apart at the molecular level. Through a bright green glow, I see Aimee’s smiling face as she lowers the barrel to watch me dematerialize.

“That’s it, Clara,” she says with a lustful grin. “Nothing left to do but relax and fade away.”

The warmth from the phaser starts to dissipate, along with my nude body. A pins and needles sensation spreads rapidly until it overwhelms me. I glance down to discover I’m fully transparent and fading fast. I look at Aimee. She winks and waves as I vanish forever without a trace.

Aimee turns to the other partygoers as Clara’s afterglow dissolves into nothingness.

“Is anyone down for round two?” she asks with a grin. “I’ll even stay naked to keep it fair for everyone, considering my extraordinary luck. Who’s ready to take my beam?”

Five hands shoot into the air. Aimee’s eyes twinkle.

“Let’s do this!”

Story notes

This little phaser tale went from idea to rough draft in about thirty minutes. I’m publishing it the same day, which is unheard of for me. I’m not sure why Spin the Bottle and Strip Poker came to mind simultaneously, but I’m glad they did.

Thanks to DustAndSpirals for offering feedback on my first draft. Credit for the clever catchphrase “Take my beam” goes to the amazing ZapperZero.

Oh, it looks like our friends are preparing for another round of Spin the Phaser. Who’s with me?
